Accommodation at the Gîte
The three apartments of the Gîte du Cheiron have separate entrances and terrace areas so that everybody can live independently and fully enjoy their holidays, the owner Karen lives on site and is always available if you need anything.
Each apartment has a comfortable lounge area, kitchen area, one or two separate bedrooms and a good sized bathroom. Explore each apartment in detail and view their high-resolution photo galleries:

- Apartment 3 : A cozy, rustic apartment with a warm mountain character, furnished with wicker chairs, a full kitchen, and great sun exposure.
We Welcome couples on a week-end as well as families with children or groups of paragliders, walkers, skiers or simply friends… Dogs are welcome too!
Each apartment opens onto unspoilt panoramic mountain scenery, and the geographical location offers full sun exposure the entire day, all year round.
Common Facilities & Guest Comfort
All three apartments are situated on the same level, but each enjoys its own strictly private, individual terrace area. They share the following services and amenities:
- Terrace Access: Access to the private terrace in front of each apartment requires walking down outdoor steps from the main property level.
- Free Wi-Fi: High-speed wireless internet connection is available free of charge in all apartments.
- Heating: Individual electric heating is provided in all apartments for your comfort during winter.
- TV & DVD Players: Each apartment features a TV with a DVD player. Please note there is no satellite or standard TV reception; however, a large selection of DVDs is available from your hosts free of charge.
- Laundry Service: A laundry washing service is available upon request (please note there are no washing machines inside the individual apartments).
- Gas Barbecue: A private outdoor gas BBQ is provided in front of each apartment for your summer grilling.
- Towels & Linen: Fresh bath towels and quality bed linens are provided and fully included in your stay.
- Dogs Welcome: Well-behaved dogs of all sizes are warmly welcomed at the gîte.
- Parking: Free private parking is available directly on the property.
- For Infants: A baby cot and high chair are available free of charge upon request.
Practical Info & Guest FAQ
- Where can we park? There is plenty of free, secure parking space directly on the gîte property.
- Proximity to the GR4 hiking trail: The Gîte du Cheiron is ideally located just a few hundred meters from the starting points of the famous GR4 trail.
- Local Shopping & Supermarket: There is a small, well-stocked local supermarket (“Les Patous”) on the other side of the village, well within walking distance for your daily groceries.
- Where to eat in the village of Gréolières? There are three great restaurants located just a short walk from the gîte:
- La Barricade (Place de the Fontaine, Phone : +33 4 93 59 98 68): An excellent traditional pizzeria renowned for its wood-fired pizzas and homemade burgers. It is the only restaurant in the village open in the evening (typically closed on Mondays and Friday lunchtimes).
- La Vieille Auberge (Place Pierre Merle, Phone : +33 4 93 59 03 02): A traditional French bistro serving generous Provençal and Southwest French dishes (stuffed vegetables, duck breast with honey). Open during the day for lunch (closed on Tuesdays).
- Le Relais (Rue du Ribas, Phone : +33 4 93 32 03 86): A warm, family-run bar and restaurant blending Provençal traditions with Thai culinary influences under a large, shaded linden tree (closed on Mondays).
